Happy Canada’s Day!
As a follow-up to our initial “Summer’s Here” post, we wanted to add this link from BlogTO. It is a listing of free outdoor screenings of movies of all kinds. It is the perfect outing for families, couples or friends! All you need is a lawn chair and your popcorn!
Tomorrow is Canada Day and there are many events taking place tomorrow in honour of the 144th birthday of Canada.
Here is a list of Canada Day events that are happening:
Vaughan is celebrating at Mackenzie Glen District Park in Maple starting at 3 PM. There will be concerts, children’s area, family bbq, face painting and a ton of other activities. Full details can be found by clicking here.
Richmond Hill will kick things off at 11:45 AM and will continue to celebrate until 11 PM. Be prepared for hockey demonstrations, music, air brushed tattoos and fireworks at 10 PM. Full itinerary can be found here. The Town of Richmond Hill will also be accepting donations for the Richmond Hill Food Bank all day.
The Township of King will be holding their celebrations at Tyrwhitt Conservation Area located in Kettleby. You can buy hot dogs and drinks at the park, or bring your own family picnic. Mayor Black will be serving Canada Day cake and fireworks will commence at 9:45 PM.
Huntsville has a jammed packed schedule for Canada’s day; they will have everything from tattoos for the kids, tours of Brunel Locks, free hot dogs, Strawberry Social, Jazz Band, sand castle competition and too many more to mention!
