Since 2001, this family has owned & operated Lake of Bays Garden Centre (formerly known as Dwight Garden Centre). It spans over 8 acres and has 2 greenhouses, a home decor/fashion store and an in-house florist. The flatbed truck you’ll see on site isn’t just a prop, it pays homage to how they got their start almost 25 years ago, where they’d pull over on the side of Hwy 60 ad sell flats of flowers off the side of this now iconic pick-up. You can learn more about their history here. Lake of Bays Garden Centre is a big draw for tourists and locals alike and best of all, it’s only 5 minutes away from the Northern Lights community.
They would love to help you with your gardening needs, when you’re ready and set to garden.
Lake of Bays Garden Centre is always looking for ways to better serve their first-timers, tourists and locals who drop by. They are open year-round and offer door-to-door delivery of everything from trees, mulch, and cut flowers to the iconic Muskoka chairs and gift baskets. If you prefer to shop online, you can do that too!
They also provide a myriad of services, including propane supply, contractor supplies and expert workshops.
For a touch of playful whimsy, why not add an iconic black bear, made out of old tree stumps to your landscaping.
