Make the most out of winter!
The winter season, as we all know is very long in Ontario. Instead of hibernating all winter, we suggest going out and enjoying some of the great activities that winter has to offer.
This Saturday, is the 7th Annual Community Skate and Bonfire at Dufferin Marsh. Stop by between 3 and 6 PM and enjoying quality family time, hot beverages and the great outdoors!
Snowshoeing is also a great outdoor activity where kids and adults can partake! We went a few weekends ago, and it was wonderful! Walking through a serene forested path, admiring the crisp snow was a very calming experience. If you want to go out this weekend, York Region is offering guided tours of the York Regional Forest. RSVP here.
If being out in the cold isn’t your thing, you can always soak up the warmth at one of the many activities that is offered at the Library. They have everything from magicians to writing workshops, a full calendar of events is available on the King Township website.
Have fun out there!
